Friday morning, we gathered at Tailem Bend to start our LWE run to Naracoorte, where we would spend the next 3 days. After coffee & a briefing and handing out the goodie bags, we hit the road with 19 vettes & a couple of support vehicles in tow, we headed off via the Coorong, stopping at Meningie for a quick dash & slash & mounting of an Emu. Then back on the road to Kingston for lunch. Here Brian & Marg joined us for the weekend. After lunch we drove to Penola & then to Wynns Coonawarra Winery for a wine & cheese tasting in their old cellar. The party had started! Leaving the Winery, we detoured to the Coonawarra siding for a look & some photos. After arriving at our accommodation, settling in, cleaning cars, a bit of carpark chit chat & drinks/nibbles, we walked to Bushman's Arms for tea. Following a good hearty meal, we wandered back to the Motel where some retired & others kicked on for a while.
